Loving the Michelle Makori interview, about 30 minutes left to go. In terms of the Chinese gold holdings theory that they are much greater than officially stated: 1. How do we know that the same does not apply to the US and that they are also reporting much lower amounts? I'm sure the regulatory environment is tighter in the US, but they could be lying too. 2. The US will obviously know the argument about much higher Chinese gold holdings so why don't they do anything to counter that like increase their own holdings? Or would that then undermine the dollar and for now they are happy to rest easy that the Chinese are unlikely to announce their actual holding and crash the system?
