A few months ago, the successful takeout of Condor Gold meant I—and some of you—were left with shares in the acquirer, Metals Exploration (MTL.L), and a large cash sum.

What did I do with that cash, you may wonder?

Did I buy a new frock?

I was tempted, but no. I bought shares in another company.

It has nothing to do with gold or junior mining. It’s a long way removed from any such thing.

In fact, it’s a service company, about as UK-centric as it gets. It just announced earnings that beat expectations, its business is going great—and nobody seems to care. The chat boards are dead. I looked.

But it’s a very well-known company, probably the best-known in its sector.

It’s something like 90% off its highs.

And word has reached these ears that it is about to be taken out.

What’s the name of this company?
