Your Sunday morning thought piece this week takes the form of a video I’ve made about Kisses on a Postcard.
Enjoy
For more information - how to listen, whether as a podcast, via CD or via Bandcamp - everything you need to know is here at the Kisses on a Postcard website.
I covered the background to this project a few weeks back, but I just made a vid version here. Have a watch (it’s a good story) - and you’ll find out how I accidentally became a financial writer:
My father went from Harrow up to Ashington , Bobby and Jack Charlton et al country. He said he had a great time , aged 11 .
I’ve always been interested in the experiences of these British children sent away and the impact it had on the parents, kids and care families. The nation threw itself to the war time effort! Looking forward to the project.
