SPEAKER 1
Hello, my name's Dominic Frisby. I've shaved. I look about twelve. Well, maybe not quite. Now, once upon a time, the British were respected around the world and admired for their integrity, their competence, their conduct and their sense of fair play. Those days may have gone, but do not despair. We still have so much to be proud of.
0:20
In many ways, Britain still does rule the waves. Take taxation and regulation, for example. The UK has the longest tax code in the world and the most complex. It's more than 10 million words. That is 13 times longer than the Bible. Nobody has read it all. Brexit was supposed to reduce red tape,

but we've managed to increase it so that we now lead Western Europe and rank top five worldwide when it comes to regulatory overlap and duplication. We have the most DEI diversity, equity and inclusion officers in the world, not per capita, total and the best paid.

A rant for you this Sunday morning. Enjoy!

If you are buying gold to protect yourself in these uncertain times - and you should if you do not already own some - as always I recommend The Pure Gold Company. Pricing is competitive, quality of service is high. They deliver to the UK, the US, Canada and Europe or you can store your gold with them. More here.

By the way, in case of interest, I have the following comedy shows coming up int he next fortnight.

People wonder why a certain Turquoise political party are surging in popularity. To those that have elections coming up on 1st May, please go out and vote. Real change only happens when you stop voting for more of the same.

Thanks Scott. I'm not convinced voting has much effect, but it's the east you can do ...

That's exactly how they want us all to feel so they can carry on screwing us in perpetuity. Please, don't give up.

I am an Ex Pat living in the USA. I come back to the UK every 6 weeks for family and business and have done so for the past 30 years. It is hard to stomach what is happening in the UK and Dominic's piece today is very sobering indeed.

Over here, Trump is the new sheriff and he is going "scorched earth" on criminal illegal migrants, getting rid of "the worst first" in his words in a common sense approach. Starmer should take a page out of DJT's playbook and return these bad actors to where they came from. FFS.

Dominic, as always you hit the nail on the head. Successive governments have destroyed this country. They have got away with it because we have a political sham that pretends to be a democracy. Votes count for nothing when the choice is beween either lying cheek of the same backside. Note: Starmer behaves as if everyone backed him in a democratic vote when in reality 2/3 of those who voted voted against him and only 1/5 of those entitled to vote voted for him. We are doomed. How can this be called democracy?

It makes me sad to see and hear what has happened to my home country - England. This is a highly amusing piece and for anyone still residing in the UK, very depressing. Energy prices thanks to Not-Zero are doing their strong part to bringing down western civilisation. Re-distrbution of wealth ...

One exception when it comes to being the most expensive city to drive in - check Melbourne, where there is a massive range of toll roads.

I think between out fines and charges we come out top but I take your point - thanks for the nice comment Julian

Any chance of doing an opposites video (try and find anything that’s positive in the uk? lol, good luck). On another note, I recently fell down a rabbit hole reading about the Act of Union 1707 when England essentially purchased Scotland for just under £400,000. At the time that would have bought you around 8,000 high end slaves at £50 a head. For 400k, England bought a country, 1 million people, a navy and military, coal, oil, silver, fishing and 10% extra tax’s for the next 300 years. If that was a game of chess - I’d definitely say that was Rook to F2! Shame they didn’t set up a Norwegian Investment Fund to boot!

Well you are on fire Dominic! Well done, you hit the nail on the head, yet again. You really should go on safari you would hit bulls eye every time.

How sad that you can sum up all that bothers right-thinking people and the whole government either miss the point or couldn't care less.

You never know they may be waiting for free tickets to your shows!

A loonie lefty I know, who could be very unpleasant and aggressive if you didn't vote labour - well, well, well, guess what - she is going mad because she is sure she is going to lose her PIP! That will slow her down because she likes her holidays (yes, plural), her trips here there and everywhere and going to lunch/afternoon tea here, there and everywhere.

Anyway Dominic - do you want me to get her bank details so that you know where to send your donations (I am sure Chad, Goat etc., will also join in!).

We need people like you in government - but I fear you would be drowned out as you talk sense and facts. Mind you it would be a rich source for your comic songs!

Ah well - back to reality for me and the rest of the right-minded people.

Love this country but hate and fear what is happening. I have said it before I am amazed that with your talent you do not go abroad to live.

Best Wishes Kate

I had just sat down with my morning coffee when I opened your vid. Sound off (default). Intense rapid-fire stat this early, I decided to read along.

Maybe I missed it ... Did you mention anything about the king-loving (man who would be) king (or maybe Connery) across the water from you wants to join the cause to, perhaps (his motive), MBGA?

Is that a relief? Or just some more comic relief?

I'm glad you got rid of the gross chin minge. Despite modern trends beards are not a good look especially when they have lots of grey and are grown wild, it's an unclean prehistoric look.

Great video as usual.

Being a pendant, it's actually Crown or Magistrates courts for criminal matters! County court is for civil proceedings.

Thanks Alex - I don't think it matters which court they still take a very long time! But yes as that point follows on from the crimes I can see how the misunderstanding occured
