Sometimes I forget that the insanity is not limited to the U.S....thank you for the reminder, and the excellent synopsis of the one-world government's B.S. I honestly believe that if we had journalists that spoke the truth, the world would be (if not a better place) at least more comprehensible.
I was driving in Scotland today, and was surprised to discover that Aberdeen have introduced a low emission zone,.. ‘ABERDEEN !’ ... a relatively isolated, coastal City, with relatively light traffic and an almost constant North Sea breeze blowing over the wide,’ low rise’ streets.
It must have, the cleanest air, of any city in the UK, ...
No way is this about health, if it was health that they were concerned about they would be creating UPFZ’s (ultra processed food zones) where that food type would be banned.
If it’s not about health, it can only be about control and/or money.
Wish I’d made it to the protest, well done to all those that did.
An excellent summary of the wrath of Khan. Fortunately I live in Peterborough, sufficiently far enough away to drive a non-ULEZ compliant but nevertheless very economically old diesel on a 15 mile a day daily round trip. Absolute madness to even consider buying a modern EV for my lifestyle, not that I could afford it. To think only a few yews ago governments were incentivising us to buy diesels because they were economical and now they’re shafting us for it. The same will happen to the newer crop of vehicles when they’ve run out of money again.
Superb. I lived in London in the late nineties, have extremely fond memories and agree that back then it certainly would have been the greatest city in the world. I love my diesel motor, no range anxiety, the more they tell me how bad it is, the more I love it.
Unfortunately, Dom, he was democratically elected to play God by a population largely indifferent to the values we, in the country at large, fought two wars for. And that is London’s future.
Excellent speech Dominic; and sadly so true. Common sense is the least common of the senses as the saying goes. Keep up the great work you do. Thank you.
Great read, I sold something to a guy who lived in weybridge. Drove his van to me in zone 4 to pick it up, got a £180 fine which was more than he paid for the thing I sold.

Thanks Doria!

Absolutely

Yup. You know it's coming
Spot on! Khan is a self-promoting, militant pseudo-liberal autocrat. There is something fundamentally askew in a society which empowers such people.
Thanks Richard
Well said, Khan is a menace to society
Thanks Angus

Ha. A contrarian. Thanks Christian
Hitting the low-income earners again. Why can’t he tax the rich for a change? Good for you for speaking out.
Yup. Thanks Orla

Ha! True , although you might have conflated elections and democracy a little ...

Well said.
Thanks Patrick
Excellent!
Thanks Inarm
Absolutely spot on.
Thanks Matthew

Thanks - yes, the fines. They make the whole thing even worse. They are a tax in themselves
Making me sad I wasn’t there myself! (I am in fact part of that group of outer London victims of the ULEZ.)
Next time!
Are we pro or anti putting carrier bags over the newly installed cameras?
PRO!
Another outstanding piece, delivered to a city that is corrupted utterly by Khan an his stooges.
Thanks Ian
Negativity doesn't have to be about moaning, it can be reporting truths with impact.
