Good article, Dominic. The most basic and obvious development recently is weaponizing finance. Ask Justin Trudeau about that. If we see a Sino-Russian financial alliance, and both have been rumored to be in the gold and maybe Bitcoin accumulation phase for some time, what if they could sell some of that Russian oil in a coin of their choosing? The US has been enjoying its exorbitant privilege for generations and seems to have forgotten that other powers are all grown up now. We are at the predicted age of the latest Fourth Turning which apparently means all sorts of warfare, from informational to proxy to financial. The West has fired its salvo; it's only a matter of time before fire is returned.
