Thanks Dominic - just brought a very small amount of Centrum on eToro - let’s see how they do but the future is Nuclear from all my work experience in related businesses during the last 40 years. Keep these great tips coming 😊😊😊

I thought I was writing about Lightbridge!

Lightbridge not available on free trade either.

Stuart Murray Walton's avatar

Sadly Lightbridge is not available on eToro so I went for the closest alternative in your article 😊

How frustrating!

I had the same issue. Do you mean Centrus Energy?

Stuart Murray Walton's avatar

Apologies - autocorrect nightmare - yes Centrus Energy 😊

Do you have „Captrader“ (based on Interactive Brokers) available in UK? It does work perfectly well and you can buy for small amount on all stock exchanges worldwide.

Earnings are released on 31st Oct.

I wonder if recent moves have been driven by rumours of good results?

I’m torn whether to hold or sell. It’s broken the $5-6 resistance, meaning 10 would be a decent next bet. But it doesn’t hang around there for long!

Uranium sector has exploded (excuse the pun) - am tempted to take some profits on LTBR. It's up 65% in a few days!

It’s shot up 53%.

Do you have a target price?

Dominic Frisby's avatar

Not yet. I can’t believe how quickly it’s moving!

Hoping it doesn’t move that quickly in the other direction

Yeah, it does look like it regularly whipsaws back down. The case for it being bought out or the technology suddenly being on point does seem compelling however.

Chris Macfarlane's avatar

Neither can I. This is exactly why people kid themselves into thinking they can be day traders. 😂

Who would buy Lightbridge? Cameco/Westinghouse, Rolls Royce.

RR. SMRs are not fully approved yet so it may be difficult to halt that process and start with a new major component change. Only guessing, and likewise for other players.

China will nick the IP and sell the rods to the Asian producers. Maybe one of the Japanese.

Lightbridge needs money, either revenue from licensing the IP, which is not yet, grants from the oxymoronic Inflation Reduction Act or good ol shareholder dilution.

Looks like I can buy in IG although will see when market opens.

As Dominic noted people will read the article over the weekend so expect a boost on Monday 14th.

There are I guess potential buyers for it, as you suggest. It has 2-3 years of capital, so that is not an immediate concern. I don't plan to be holding it that long anyway. This is a chart-driven idea with the bonus of not unreasonable fundamentals, and I hope I make clear highly speculative.
