Listen now | Peloton was one of the big winners from the Covid tech boom. But it's fallen over 90% as the tech stock bubble bursts and and everything else falls in tandem. Here, Dominic Frisby explains where to hide as markets crash.
Oil and gas not tanking though!! Dividend paying Canadian oil stocks are the best place to park your money right now IMO. I3E is my biggest holding which pays a monthly dividend which they have just increased by 25%.
The 300 year Enlightenment experiment that we call ‘western civilisation’ is now in its decadent phase. This has been accelerated by the assault on civil society by utopian ideologues that began in earnest in the 1960’s.
This has had its most baleful effects in the field of education, whose state institutions are devoid of any real learning and imparting of knowledge let alone the encouragement of academic excellence.
Thus we have three generations of an atomised underclass with no sense of belonging or meaning adrift in a culture now obsessed with the ephemeral and the grotesque.
Very soon, possibly within this decade, the global financial system of debt based money will finally collapse ushering in a time of great hardship for most of us. The only bright spot in this will be that the ideological stupidity that brought us to it will also be utterly discredited and swept away.
I only hope that our much denuded institutions have enough strength left to survive and rebuild.
This probably also helped send the valuation down, multiple child incidents on the treadmills - one died, another suffered brain injuries.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi0FLtu82Ng
WELL DEFINED, MUSCULAR, SCULPTED, BODY - do your research first - I did, I just need to get one of those g-strings for added confirmation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kNMIPBO-oQ
I like your thought and reasoning Dominic, and I like that you do your annual review of your predictions. But you leave yourself a bit of wriggle room in some of your articles. Perhaps be more specific about what you think will happen and when. When do you think we will reach the bottom, and where will that bottom be, if you had to guess? You can always caveat that as having a low confidence. It's just that way, we get to say "I told him so" when you get it wrong and we'll feel better about ourselves.. 😉
I suppose I had Tetlock's critique in my head when I made the observation. Totally agree you can't predict the future, but you can show you're better at guessing than others !
Get yourself a bike instead. After all, it’s quite difficult to nip down the shop to load up on beer n ammo on a peloton 🤪

‘Oh Bollocks’ is my favourite song of all time.

Thanks. People like absolutes in financial journalism, but you are talking about the future so there can be no absolutes!
