I agree, like all adversity it toughens you up and in this example, as you say, hardens you against public approval. I wonder though if nowadays, 'coming out' is so fashionable and easy for young people (not those who have lived a lie for decades) - it might not be having the same toughening effect.

I don't remember a big openly gay contingent protesting against the madness of 2020. I think there is some truth in what you say, but... it's complicated. Maybe some gay people feel emboldened in certain situations, but maybe there's also an underlying yearning to fit in.

I could turn your head I reckon Dom.

Imagine a face that had caught fire and been put out with a shovel. Add to that the butch musky aroma of sandalwood and halitosis.

Combined with the confidence of knowing that if the date goes well theres going to be pie and chips!

Ok stop salivating I'm not gay but if I was.... Woof!

'Brave' for facing reality? I thought they were 'brave' because they are a protected species, sorry, minority. Not perhaps at the apex of the minority community hierarchy but well up there.

To hell with the gay. They go against nature, they disbelief the scriptures; neither the Quran nor the Bible allows homosexuality, not only that, the scriptures define capital punishment for gays. They're transgressors who deviate from the natural love between man and a woman. Here, I entirely disagree with you Dominic and vehemently condemn this piece. -Adamu A.
